Is now the time to target sweet foodstuffs in your diet?
In one of my blog posts this week I write about recent research showing sugary soft drink consumption can lead to unhealthy fat deposition in the abdomen (visceral fat), liver and muscle. One of the other problems with sweet foods is that they can drive a desire for more sweet foods. In the blog post, I suggest eschewing sweet foodstuffs as a good first step in tidying up one's diet. Higher magnesium intake associated with lower risk of stroke
