Simply Angie Hi everyone, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately, as you probably gathered from my recent series of articles, about how we’re actually doing as a Christian society. When we hold our daily lives up to the mirror of the Scriptures, sometimes the reflection is... well, let’s just say it’s a work in progress. I stumbled across a quote recently that made me laugh and then immediately felt like a nudge from the Holy Spirit (and maybe a little bit of a shove):
Can you imagine? Between our modern distractions, all the worldliness creeping into the church, and the way we treat one another, I have a feeling that letter would be several chapters long and typed in all caps. I loved the sentiment so much - that perfect mix of humor and a serious call to do better - that I decided to put it on a mug. I wanted a daily reminder (especially while I’m sipping my morning coffee and trying to get my heart in the right place) that we are called to live lives worthy of the calling we’ve received. It’s officially up in my Etsy shop! Whether it’s a gift for that friend who loves a good theological “gut-punch” or just a little something for your own kitchen counter, I hope it brings a smile and a moment of reflection to your day. You can find the new listing right here: If Paul Were Alive Today… Mug As always, thank you for being part of this journey with me and for letting me share these thoughts (and now, designs) with you. Low pressure, high caffeine, and much love, P.S. I’d genuinely love to know; do you think we’d be getting a letter? And what do you think it might say? Talk to you again soon. Can’t wait?
